Disperse varnishes

Disperse varnishes improve the visual effect of a printout in the end stages of preparation, they also protect from mechanical factors, prevent from copying of trademark products, enlarge the resistance to chemical factors, help create special effects like: non-slipping, anti-blockage.
Disperse varnishes influence the visual effect:
- Gloss varnishes enhance the sheen of a varnished base and of the overprint placed onto that base. A fine gloss effect in many ways depends on the varnished materials quality as well as the layer thickness of varnish being put on. Very often gloss varnishes fulfill other purposes then increasing the sheen, they also prevent the printout from abrasion.
- Matt varnishes give a tarnished effect to a shiny surface and to the design being printed onto it. A good matt effect, like by gloss varnishes, depends on the varnished materials quality as well as the amount of varnish being put on.
- Perl varnishes transmit a pearly sheen onto a printed surface. Those varnishes posses immense aesthetic qualities through which a product gains an additional eye catching effect. Various effects are possible to obtain by using varnishes: coating effect with a velvety sheen, glistering sheen effect, a sparkling effect.
- UV varnishes- these varnishes have specified characteristics like: shiny, preventive, anti-blockage, non-slipping, on top of that they show under UV light. They can be used in positioning of security seals onto wrappings or as markers.
- Disperse varnishes influence the mechanical and chemical resistance- protective varnishes. They increase the resistance of a printed surface to mechanical and chemical factors. They enlarge resistance to abrasion, scratches, dampness, grease, temperatures, alkali, acids. The protection level of varnishes depends mainly on the amount of it being put on.
