The Kongsberg XL22 is a flatbed cutting plotter for mechanical working on materials in sheet format, it has a working area of 1680 x 2190 mm. It is suited for jobs with different materials from photopolymer printing plates through paper, corrugated and full paperboard, polypropylene paperboard to foam, wood and acrylics.

 

The system of changeable heads for each material type enables cutting, creasing and milling. In connection with register mark reading cameras we obtain an exceptional accuracy. This table enables working on the exact outlines of the project and under a precise angle.

 

It also enables a full usage of the CAD/CAM software possibilities which is used in packaging design. This allows a automatic flute direction recognition, a correct interpretation of all line types (cutting, partial cutting and others), a full control over the direction and order of line cutting.
